Blaisdell Avenue Home Catches Fire

Richfield firefighters respond to a fire on the 7600 block of Blaisdell Avenue Monday in the late afternoon.

A fire broke out on what looked like the second floor of a home on the 7600 block of Blaisdell Avenue Monday.

A charred mattress and debris littered the yard and driveway beneath a scorched second-story window, with neighbors standing around in awe.

and were still on the scene around 6:30 p.m.; the fire had been extinguished.

It is not known if there were any injuries nor how the fire started.
