Authorities Identify Chaska Girl as Richfield Drowning Victim

Five-year-old Yunue Erazo-Davish died Thursday morning as the result of "drowning injuries."

Authorities identified Yunue Erazo-Davish Saturday as the 5-year-old girl who died as the result of "injuries suffered in a drowning" in a Richfield home swimming pool, according to Twin Cities.com.

In a press release from the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, the Erazo-Davish was visiting the home Wednesday afternoon with her mother and her's mother's teenage nephew. The children were outside while the mother was working inside. When the mother went to look for her daughter, she found her in unresponsive in the pool, according to the release.

and Fire Services departments, along with the Sheriff's Office were the first responders on the scene and the girl was rushed to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she died the Thursday morning.
