Poll: What's the Best Cold and Flu Remedy?

What should people keep nearby in case a dreaded winter cold or flu rears its ugly head?

After spending all day Saturday on what could've been my death bed, I found that my medicine cabinet was completely unprepared to comfort me.

While my mommy would've eased the pain, I found myself dragging my feet at a local Target trying to find something that would provide some relief. (I know I shouldn't have been out, so I apologize if I infected anything.)

I'm feeling 100 percent better today, and I'm hoping to be better prepared in the future.

What are your suggestions for either store-bought or home remedies that people should have on hand in the event of illness? Take my poll below and share your thoughts in the comment section below.

I've found Airborne and Emergen-C to be of help, but all they really do is load you up with Vitamin A, C, E, Zinc and a bunch of other good things. Your next best options is to just push fluids and take vitamin C and zinc. It can be tough to be stocked up and ready for a cold/flu - as you won't know what the symptoms are until you get them! Hope you feel better!

Thanks Ryan. I love me some Airborne and completely forgot about it, so thanks for the suggestion. Almost 100 percent!

You could try the old Irish remedy. Get some honey ,some lemon, and some whiskey. Take the honey and lemon and put them in the garbage. Drink a lot of whiskey and go to sleep.
