Rep. Slocum Cited for Progress Helping Minnesotans with Mental Health Issues

"I'm very proud to receive this recognition of the progress made in this area," said Rep. Slocum, "but we have more work to do in the year ahead.

Recently, Rep. Linda Slocum (50A-D) was recognized by the National Alliance on Mental Illness – Minnesota (NAMI) for her work on expanding support for Minnesotans with mental health and chemical dependency issues.

Thanks to her work, Minnesota youth and young adults will have improved access to the education and extracurricular activities they need to lead full and active lives.    

“I’m very proud to receive this recognition of the progress made in this area,” said Rep. Slocum, “but we have more work to do in the year ahead.
