Did you know the number one item requested by people who access food pantries is fresh produce? That’s why this year at our farmers markets we are partnering with VEAP (Volunteers to Assist People) to collect produce from both our vendors and customers which is then donated to VEAP’s food pantry*. Throughout our market season we’ll be one of the locations where you can donate any produce you buy at the market. Just look for the green tubes located near the entrances and the information booths at our markets. Help make local produce more accessible to everyone in our community!
