Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO) is sponsoring a Winter Maintenance with Reduced Environmental Impacts training class on Dec 6, 2012 from 10:00am-2:30pm.
This 4.5 hour training class is FREE. Limited seating!
The workshop offers information about best practices for safely maintaining sidewalks and parking lots during the winter, calibrating equipment, and reducing salt application. These practices will help you save money, time, and the environment.
An optional test is offered at the end of the workshop to earn a Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) Level I Certification in Snow and Ice Control Best Practices. Certified individuals will be listed on the MPCA website.
This class is a great way to update your credentials, discuss current practices in the winter maintenance field, and meet other professionals.
