School Board Elect Tim Pollis Thanks Voters, Outgoing Members
Christine Maleck and Peter Toensing were also elected to the board Tuesday.
Tim Pollis was one of three new Richfield School Board members to be elected Tuesday night.
After getting the news, he gave the following statement to Richfield Patch:
"I would like to thank the voters for coming out and supporting the levy questions like they did and thinking well enough of me to have voted for me.
"I am very excited to start doing the work, and hope I can make good on the trust the voters gave me. Also excited to be sharing in that work with Peter and Christine.
"I do want to thank David, Sandy, and John for their work on behalf of the District."
Incumbents Sandy Belkengren, David Lamberger and John Easterwood were all unseated Tuesday. Christine Maleck and Peter Toensing will join Pollis as board members beginning in January 2014.
