Brenda Biever Congratulates Newly Elected School Board Members

Biever made an unsuccessful bid for one of three seats up for election this year.

Brenda Biever was one of seven candidates vying for a spot on the Richfield School Board this past Election Day, and was unsuccessful in her bid.

Biever gave the following statement to Richfield Patch in an e-mail:

"I congratulate all of the new Richfield School Board members I believe that they
will do a great job. Since I personally know a couple of them there is no question
in my mind that the schools will benefit from them being on the board.
Great job to all!"

Incumbents Sandy Belkengren, David Lamberger and John Easterwood were all unseated Tuesday. Christine Maleck, Peter Toensing and Tim Pollis will join the board beginning in January 2014.
