Residents Near Richfield Sewer Project Can Expect Short Power Outages

Five things you need to know today.

3) Xcel Energy is scheduled to begin undergrounding all utilities along 76th Street Monday, according to the Richfield Metro Sewer Project Facebook page. —hopefully finishing the entire project by it's contract deadline, Nov. 15, 2011. There will be power outages for short periods of time as crews switch the power sources, but Xcel Energy will contact those residents who will be affected before the outages.
