Get Out: Richfield to Hold Community Wellness Expo

Patch highlights five activities and events to check out in the coming days.

Whether you're looking for something to do with the kids this weekend, or need a night out with friends or your significant other, Richfield Patch has a great list of things going on around town and just over the borders in Edina and Southwest Minneapolis.

Why Go: Spring has finally arrived, so don't waste any more time before getting active. Take a fun run in the morning with Superintendent Bob Slotterback, do some gardening, get the kids involved in activities and more.

Where / When: at 9 a.m. April 9. 

Why Go: Children ages 2-5 years will benefit from squeezing in some extra egg hunting practice.

Price: $8 per child

Where / When: from 5:30-9 p.m. April 9.

Why Go: Word on the street is that it’s like a meat raffle but even better.

Price: Just $7 for Bingo cards and food.

Where / When: at 7 p.m. April 10. 

Why Go: Live music; enough said.

Price: Free

Where /When: Loring Theater (1407 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55403) at 8 p.m. April 9.

Why Go: Larry Long is celebrating the release of his CD Don’t Stand Still and will be playing live music with a handful of other musicians.

Price: $22 at the door; $20 if purchased in advance online.
