Frank Sinatra Kicks Off Richfield's Farmers Market for 2013 Season

Richfield native Dale Preston serenaded the few shoppers who braved the cold May weather May 4.

Frank Sinatra impersonator and Richfield native Dale Preston sang some oldies and goodies during the Richfield Farmers Market opening day Saturday, May 4.

Check out the above Patch Clip of Preston's rendition of "Strangers in the Night."

The city's farmers market is open from 7 a.m. to noon each Saturday through October 28 at Veterans Memorial Park. In addition, a Wednesday farmers market will be held at the future Lyndale Gardens beginning in June.

Fresh produce, herbs, honey, fresh-cut flowers, bedding plants and hanging baskets are just a few of the items shoppers can find.
