It's the moment that many local residents have been waiting for: at 11 a.m. Monday, July 30.
The at 800 W. 66th St. and will feature an outdoor patio, bar and seat 140 inside. In addition to its interesting pizza options and other Italian fare, the restaurant will also offer brunch from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Owner J.J. Haywood told Richfield Patch the restaurant's management team is comprised of managers transferring from Downtown Minneapolis, Hopkins and St. Paul locations, with the general manager being Matt Urspringer of Hopkins.
"We have hired and trained a great staff of nearly 100 employees," Haywood said. "Many of whom hail from Richfield."
The restaurant is also hosting an invite-only, pre-opening brunch, happy hour and dinner event Sunday, July 29. Haywood said this not only serves as an opportunity for a pre-Monday training session and a celebration with friends, family, vendors and Facebook Fans, but also as a chance to give back to the community: one hundred percent of all the sales from Sunday will be donated to the VEAP Food Pantry.
Business hours will be 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The restaurant also offers free delivery of its full menu to the entire city, as well as parts of Edina, South Minneapolis and Bloomington. The boundaries are east of France Avenue, west of Cedar Avenue, North of American Boulevard and south of Minnehaha Creek.
