From complimentary root beer floats from Lund's to a bouncy house for kids, Richfield Penn Fest has something for everyone.

The fourth annual offers plenty of entertainment and special deals from local businesses. Here's a look at what visitors can expect from the Sept. 18 celebration:

  • : Foil balloons sold in-store for special $1.66 Penn Fest price;
  • : 50% off storewide sale, some bins and racks of $0.66 items;
  • : $1.66 bagel smears;
  • Cone Brothers: $.66 junior cones and $.66 hot dogs;
  • : Tent outside with pizza slice, soda and water specials including $.66 brownies;
  • : $1.68 pizza slices;
  • : Back by popular demand! $.66 Hotwheels and $.66 Beanie Babies;
  • : $.66 bowling and $.66 tap beers;
  • Posters On Board: Select posters $.66 and $6.60;
  • : Buy two gallons of paint get a free t-shirt;
  • : $10 off any service to new clients only and feather Hair Extensions at a discount;

Activities and Entertainment

  • Andon Balloons: Free balloons for children, large balloon sculpture displays in the store, balloon twister making sculptures, animals and more;
  • Bruegger’s Bagels: Customers who purchase the Penn Fest special will be entitled to spin the Bruegger's Bagel Wheel for a variety of prizes. In addition, Bruegger's mascot will be roaming on Penn Avenue;
  • Davanni’s: Tent outside with prize wheel, human “pizza slice,” register to win a gift basket valued at $66;
  • Fireside Pizza: A kinesiologist will be available for complimentary consultations; (in their back lot) charity $6.68 car wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to benefit the Henrickson Foundation, which works with the Minnesota Disabled Hockey program;
  • Hub Hobby: Kids’ Tiger Belly Bouncy House, carnival games and game demos;
  • Lerum Auto: Car show and music;
  • Lund’s: Complimentary root beer floats;
  • Posters on Board: Cookies, lemonade and live music;
  • : Kids can climb into a real fire truck;
  • Salon Junallo: Feather hair extensions, free makeup touch-ups, free mini chair massage and a special gift;
  • Arc's Value Village: Children’s games and activities; selling homemade dog biscuits.

Party goers can also register to win one of many prizes during Penn Fest. Names of winners will be posted on the PennCentralofRichfield.com website after the event. Look for the drawing entry bins at participating businesses.

The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday between the 62nd and 68th streets on Penn Avenue.
