  • Melting Pot: Downtown Minneapolis. This swanky fondue restaurant is perfect for lovers. The delicious four-course meal includes a cheese fondue, salad, entrée and dessert for $120 for the two of you. Want some real privacy? Reserve a spot on “Lovers’ Lane”—a private curtain booth.
  • : Richfield. This local pizza joint may not be the first place that many would think about for a romantic Valentine’s Day date, however the small space features candlelight at every table and many of the booths on the wall have curtains, which you could close for a little more privacy. Share a pie or a plate of spaghetti and meatballs—Lady and the Tramp style.
  • : Minneapolis. Looking for a cute neighborhood place to enjoy original recipes and comfortable accommodations? In Season is it and its featuring a special menu all V-day weekend long.
  • Oak City:  Bloomington, MN. This nearby spot is located just off Interstate 494 on the frontage road, between Normandale Boulevard and France Avenue.  The classy and lounge-like restaurant is dim lit, well kept and comfortable.  In addition to the laid back atmosphere, couples can take advantage of the $19.95 dinner-for-two menu on Valentine’s Day 2011.
  • : Minneapolis. If you are looking for a charming neighborhood spot to take your sweetie, head to La Chaya Bistro, which features all-natural foods infused with flavors from the Mediterranean and Mexico. Small vases with single flowers are delicately placed on the tables to add some sweetness.
