More than 40 years after Corinne Ascher Shepherd was serving up cool ice cream treats, the Dairy Queen on 66th Street and Nicollet Avenue is still standing.
Ascher Shepherd, who worked at the shop from 1967-69 dug these old photos up recently and sent them on over to Richfield Patch.
"My best friends, Sally Nelson and Pat Ward also worked there," she told Patch in an e-mail. "Jim Goddard is pictured in the front of the DQ; we were dating at the time. It was a happening place to work and loads of fun!"
