Richfield's newest sandwich shop is now open at Lyndale Station.
Firehouse Subs is one of three new tenants recently announced for the Lyndale Station development. Salon Concepts and Von Hanson's Meats are the other two tenants that have signed leases, and are slated to open in the spring.
The Richfield Firehouse Subs location is a franchise location, and one of more than 600 total locations in 35 states and Puerto Rico. The menu features both hot and cold sandwiches, and salads. Patrons will be able to place their orders online and pick them up at the restaurant.
According to the company's website, the chain was started 18 years ago by Chris and Robin Sorensen. There are currently three other Firehouse Subs locations in Minnesota in St. Cloud, Maplewood and Plymouth. Another location in Maple Grove is coming soon.
