Chamber Announces New Board Member

The new appointment came after a board member resigned.

The Richfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors unanimously approved their newest Board Member, Debi Neitzel-Waitkus.

RCofC Board Member Patti Sterbuck (Broadway Pizza) announced her resignation effective December 31. Debi will complete Sterbuck’s term (which ends in December 2014); she assumes the role effective immediately.

This afternoon in the Chamber of Commerce offices, Gordy Ecklund, Chair of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, publicly introduced Ms. Neitzel-Waitkus. “On behalf of the RCofC Board of Directors, we are very pleased to welcome Debi to the board of directors. She has extensive experience serving on boards and fundraising; we are very pleased that she has generously offered to share her marketing, administrative and organizational expertise with the Chamber” stated Mr. Ecklund. 

Angie Schaefbauer, President of the RCofC, added “Debi has expressed her excitement about serving on the board with me on several occasions – she is particularly excited about the potential of utilizing technology to further promote the Chamber and promote Richfield business. Her forward-thinking attitude and desire to leverage technology will help us ensure the best utilization of our member dollars – we are thrilled to have her on the board. ”
