Candidates for Richfield’s School Board Race Finalized

Seven candidates will compete for three open seats.

The list of candidates running for three seats on Richfield’s school board is final.  According to the Minnesota Secretary of State website, the seven candidates include:

  • Sandy Belkengren

  • John Easterwood

  • David Lamberger

  • Peter Toensing

  • Brenda Biever

  • Christine Maleck

  • Tim Pollis.

    • Both Pollis and Biever entered the race on Aug. 13. Belkengren, Easterwood and Lamberger--all current board members--filed for reelection.

    Toensing, who ran for reelection in 2011 and lost, will try again this year.
