Richfield Readers' Choice: Best Public Art Display

The Patch feature is back with a twist and we want you to nominate your favorite art display in Richfield.

Over the past decade or Richfield has really been priding itself on commissioning interesting, beautiful and even strange pieces of public art.

So much so, that the Richfield Arts Comission recently created . In addtiion, the .

Patch wants to know which piece is your favorite.

Simply write the location and name of your favorite local art display in the comments below. The arts commission's guide has also been attached as a PDF in case you need a refresher.

Nominations end July 9, and voting will run from July 23 to Aug. 17.

This post is not my nomination, it will be in my next post. Here are some other public art displays in Richfield: Display case at the City Hall/Municipal center, rotating artists. The Community Center, rotating artists, the Student Art show at Augsburg Library in November & December each year. And my nomniation is......

Not sure if this works, but the Lindbergh statue at Vet's park is absolutely amazing!

The statue of former Mayor Kirsch. It's so real. Plus it kind of makes me giggle every time I see it.
