'Miss Richfield 1981' Stars in Ad to Attract Gay Tourism to Philadelphia

Richfield native Russ King parlayed his drag queen persona into a spokesmodel for the City of Brotherly Love.

A performer bearing Richfield's name is starring in a new ad campaign to attract visitors to Philadelphia.

Miss Richfield 1981 (Richfield native Russ King) takes a "selfie tour" of Philadelphia in a video commercial designed to draw gay tourists.

The video is very lively and is reportedly set to air on cable channels (LOGO, Bravo and Style), even if it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Whether anyone will confuse Richfield with Philadelphia is another question.
