Richfield High School NAAPID Event

Community members and families of students are invited to particpate in (NAAPID) at Feb. 13.

NAAPID is a national call to action to get more parents of African American students involved in their children's education. Annually recognized on the second Monday every February, NAAPID is a national observation with the goal to open dialogue among teachers, parents, and staff.

The day will begin with a welcome breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by classroom visits at 9:15 a.m. and guest speaker Mr. Darrick Smith, Center Director for LearningWorks, CA, an educational policy organization focusing on equity issues in higher education at 10:20 a.m.
