Wood Lake Nature Center is hosting a candlelit walk through the trees and cattails to ring in the new year. Hundreds of lights will illuminate the walking path where walkers can keep an eye out for rabbits, foxes, deer and other wildlife that live in the preserve. After the walk, return to the building to warm up, roast marshmallows, drink hot cocoa, play games, make crafts or just relax. This is an inexpensive, family friendly event and no preregistration is required.
