Weather Update: Less Snow to Fall Than Previously Expected in Richfield

Richfield Patch updates readers on current weather conditions.

While earlier in the day Tuesday the National Weather Service predicted between one and three inches of snow to fall overnight with another one or two throughout the day Wednesday, now that number is down to about two inches total.

About one inch is possible on both Tuesday night and Wednesday throughout the day. In addition, Wednesday's high temperature is predicted around 35, so the snow may not stay long.

Although the snowfall won't be as heavy as anticipated, Richfield's automatically goes into effect after two or more inches has fallen. Cars may be ticketed and/or towed if left on the street when the plows come through. The suggests making parking arrangements with landlords, neighbors or friends when two or more inches is predicted.
