VEAP to Reopen in New Location Monday

VEAP is closed until Jan. 6 when it will reopen in a new facility.

Bloomington-based Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP) is getting ready to open its new facility at 9600 Aldrich Ave. S. on Monday, Jan. 6.

VEAP, which provides the Richfield, Bloomington, Edina and South Minneapolis communities with a variety of services, is moving from its spot on the 9700 block of Irving Avenue in Bloomington, and is closed until its Monday opening, according to a press release.

The new location also brings with it slightly new hours. The facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Fridays, and 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays. A new regional Hennepin County hub will also open at the Aldrich Avenue location on Jan. 13.
