Thanksgiving Week Events in Richfield

Things to do in and near Richfield this Thanksgiving week.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Here are a list of special holiday events happening in and near town this week:

Pizza Luce's Winter Holiday Beer Kickoff


When: 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Where: Pizza Luce, 800 W. 66th St. in Richfield.

Details: Welcome holiday beer season with live music by Timothy Howe starting at 4 p.m., with some great beers from Summit and Surly being unleashed for the season.

Walk to End Hunger


When: 7-10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day).

Where: Mall of America, 60 E. Broadway in Bloomington.

Details: Since its inception in 2008, the Walk to End Hunger has raised more than $1.2 million for hunger relief organizations in the Twin Cities metro. The event is fun, and family-friendly, and features music, balloon animals and crafts for the kids. For the fitness enthusiast, there will be a second-floor 5K power walk route.

Holidazzle


When: 
6:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays Nov. 29 through Dec. 21.

Where: 
Nicollet Mall between 12th and Fourth Streets in Minneapolis.

Details:
 It's the classic Twin Cities parade—illuminated floats, music, celebrity grand marshals and Santa. This will be the final year of the Holidazzle event as Minneapolis plans to redo the festivities into something new next year. The cost is free.
