SOLD! Richfield Homes Still Selling Quickly Despite Season Change

Richfield has what buyers want–moderately priced and pretty.

Homes are still selling in Richfield– and quickly–despite the change of seasons. Of the five homes that sold last week, three sold in less than a month, one sold in less than two months. Only one, the only short-sale, was on the market for a considerable length of time, nearly a year.

Has the market for short sales and bank owned property played itself out? Probably not, but traditional sales are beginning to attract first and even second-time buyers.  

Richfield is one of the best areas in the Twin Cities for moderately priced but solidly built homes, and sellers are putting time and money making these homes ready for the market.

In the past, spending money fixing up a home before selling it was discouraged by real estate professionals, but now, with competing housing stock made bright and new, sellers listing agents are starting to recommend at least some upgrading before selling.
