Richfield Residents Can Expect a Busy Richfield Weekend

There is a ton of stuff happening this weekend! Read on for the details.

The many wonderful events planned in Richfield this weekend is a great sign that summer is on its way. Since there are so many things happening, Richfield Patch has gathered many of them for easy weekend planning:

The third annual fundraiser for Hope Presbyterian Church's camp aims to raise money to keep the camp going and provide scholarships for those who can't afford any or a portion of the fee.

Date, time and place: Saturday, May 19; registration begins at 8 a.m. at Hope Church.

The kids run takes place from 8:30-8:45 a.m. and the 5K begins at 9 a.m. For more information, see our article.

Sponsored by Penn Central of Richfield, an organization made up of area residents and business owners, the event will open the doors of open retail spaces in the 66th Street and Penn Avenue area. This is the perfect opportunity for business owners and entreprenuers to see what that business district has to offer.

After holding a in 2009, 2010 and 2011, the city has expanded its May celebration and renamed it "Unity in Community." It's completely free and features entertainment, games, kids activities, free snacks and more.
