Richfield House Hunt: Start Looking at Homes Now to Move in September

Richfield has a good inventory of homes to choose from.

Late spring and early fall are the most popular times for first-time buyers to move into their newly bought homes. Now that summer is in full swing, time is starting to run out for a September closing. It usually takes a month to find the right house, a week for negotiations and inspections and then an average of 45 days from final acceptance of a purchase agreement to close.

Start looking now to move in September. If you are looking for bargain, you should know the timeline for short sales or foreclosures is longer. Contact a real estate agent and sit down with a mortgage lender soon, unless you like moving furniture and boxes when the snow is flying.
