Richfield Brownie Troop to Hold 'Cookie Drive Thru'

If you have yet to get your Girl Scout cookie fix this season—or even if you have and need more—a local Brownie troop is available this weekend to help out.

Members of Girl Scout Brownie Troop 15071 and adult volunteers will staff a cookie "drive thru" at Emerson Congregational United Church of Christ, 7601 Girard Ave. S. Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 and 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17.

According to a troop press release, cookie customers will be able to simply pull into the church parking lot, place their order, pay and pick up the cookies from the comfort of their vehicles. The troop will have all eight cookie varieties ready for the sale; each box is $4. Cash and check payments will be accepted.

Proceeds support both the Girl Scout River Valley Council as well as the local troop. The troop plans to use the money raised to support various troop activities and make a donation to a local charity.
