Relay For Live Moving to Richfield

The cancer fundraiser has been held in Bloomington for the last 16 years.

This summer, one of the largest cancer fundraisers in the metro area is moving north, according to the Sun Current.

Relay For Life participants have spent the last 16 years lapping the Bloomington Arena, but this year they'll be taking to the track at Richfield High School.

In the event, participants walk an overnight relay around an athletic track to raise money for cancer research. When the track at the event's former location was removed, organizers were forced to look elsewhere.
