The Richfield Hometown 4th of July Parade once again draws in great crowds as Richfield pulls out all the stops to celebrate America's independence.

Thousands of Richfield residents and people from around the region worked on their tans during at the annual Parade Monday afternoon. It was hot in the sun, with temperatures reaching the upper 80s, but that didn't stop the crowd from cheering, waving flags and little children chasing candy.

Organizations and groups of all kind participated in the parade, including the American Legion Post 435, Marching Band, The Assumption Mariachis, , , the Anoka High School Marching Band, and the Minnesota Police Pipe Band, to name a few.
