How You Can Participate in Richfield's 2013 Open Streets at Penn Fest
Do you own a small business in town? Are you an antiques dealer? Promote your business at the event.
Richfield's second annual Open Streets at Penn Fest is set for Sunday, Sept. 15, and you can be a part of it.
Whether you're a crafter or the owner of a small business, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved and establish a presence at the event:
Businesses
If you don't have a business on Penn Avenue, you can still promote and sell your product or service during the event. There is a $150 registration fee and pre-registration is required.
Nonprofits and Community Groups
This is a great opportunity for youth athletics, dance clubs, social groups, advocacy groups and more to meet the public. Event organizers ask participants provide an activity at their booth for event goers to participate in.
*It is free to register under this category, but pre-registration is required.
Crafters and Collectors
A new edition to this year's event is what organizers are hoping will be "the biggest flea market Richfield has ever seen."
Want to sell a few antiques or collectibles you have laying around? Do you operate a small home-based business? Are you an artist or crafter who would like to sell your work? Then this is the perfect opportunity.
There is a $25 registration fee and pre-registration is required.
Download registration forms for either of the vendor categories at penncentralofrichfield.com.
Of course, volunteers are also needed for the event. If you are interested in volunteering or want more details, contact Ann Hoffer, recreation supervisor for the City of Richfield, at 612-861-9361 or ahoffer@cityofrichfield.org.
