Options for Artists, Kindergarten Open House and Special City Council Meeting

The Richfield City Council will have a special meeting 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 to discuss the budget at the Richfield Municipal Center, Bartholomew Conference Room, 6700 Portland Avenue South. 

Check out Enriching the Field: Free Art Dinner and Conversation 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 6334 Lyndale Avenue South. Lyndale Gardens Artist Organizer Molly Van Avery will talk about how funding for the arts works in Minnesota and how individual artists and arts groups can access grant funds to support their work. Join other artists earlier in the day from 1 to 4:30 p.m. for Wednesday Afternoon Open Studio at Crosstown Creativity.

The Richfield Middle School Fall Essentials event is 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for all families Aug. 28-29. 

Richfield Dual Language School kindergarten open house is 10:30 a.m. to noon and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 28. Pick a time that works best for your family.
