League of Women Voters Showcases School Board Candidates Saturday
Seven candidates are vying for three contested seats this November.
Once again the League of Women Voters of Richfield is sponsoring a candidate forum featuring the seven candidates vying for one of three seats on the Richfield School Board.
The event will take place from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at Richfield City Hall and Municipal Center.
The seven candidates are:
(*) Sandy Belkengren;
(*) John Easterwood;

(An asterisk (*) represents incumbent.)
Superintendent Bob Slotterback will open the event with an informational presentation, and an overview of the proposed technology levy and increase request, from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The remainder of the event will be dedicated to candidates presenting themselves and answering questions collected by the League of Women Voters.
