Holy Angels Tennis Team to Host Pancake Breakfast for All Vets Memorial

For the second year in a row, the AHA tennis team is hosting a fundraiser for Richfield Honoring All Veterans Memorial.

Members of the Academy of Holy Angels tennis team and the school’s food service vendor, Taher, Inc., are once again teaming up to sponsor a pancake breakfast to raise funds for Richfield's Honoring All Veterans Memorial.

The breakfast will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Nov. 10 at Holy Angels.

The event has been dubbed "Net Gain—Serving It Up For Those Who Serve."

“The men and women who fought to protect us and preserve the notion that mankind was meant to be free are much on our minds as Veterans’ Day approaches,” Holy Angels social studies teacher and tennis coach Steve Werle said in a release. “And our tennis team members and their families have chosen this project to honor them and to raise some funds for a lasting memorial.”

The Honoring All Veterans Memorial located at Veterans Memorial Park. Parts of the memorial are still in the works.
