More About Veterans Memorial Park
Veterans Memorial Park is the second largest park in Richfield and is home to the Richfield Ice Arena, Richfield Pool and mini-golf course. The Richfield American Legion is also set in the middle of the park. The development of the park, formerly known as Legion Lake, began in 1985, and walking paths were asphalted in 1990. In the summer, the picnic pavilion serves as a local farmers' market and the entire expanse of the park is used for all Fourth of July festivities. The All Veterans Memorial statue and walls of names were unveiled in 2008.
