I had more snow days during my four years of college than I did as a Richfield student from kindergarten through 12th-grade. I feel your pain kids!

I dont know if you were at the hs yet, but we got dumped on worse than last night and the bus drivers all took a "sick day" over contract disputes and school was STILL right on time. The place was a ghost town, you could have fired a cannon down the halls.
Also, FYI, the ONLY time Richfield schools were affected by weather is when Gov Carlson closed school across the ENTIRE state due to windchill. It literally takes an act of government to close Richfield schools.

I remember the day that Jake is talking about really well! I was teaching at Sheridan at the time. We did have a major snowstorm the day before.. But the day that school was closed turned out to be a beautiful sunshine-y day.. and I was so excited to be off work, I went out for a "liquid lunch" with a bunch of my boyfriend's friends!
