Richfield Teen Police Academy on For Another Year
Register your child by March 12.
Richfield's Teen Police Academy is back for another year.
Richfield middle-schoolers, in Grades 6-8, can participate in the annual event on March 15, right after school lets out.
Participants will be bused from Richfield Middle School to Richfield City Hall and Municipal Center for the academy, where parents can pick their children up after at 7:30 p.m.
Youth planners have chosen the following topics: tours of the inner workings of police and fire departments, SWAT team, what to do when there’s a house fire, 911 dispatch center and much more.
All participants will receive dinner and a t-shirt. There will also be door prizes throughout the event. The deadline to register is March 12. For more information, please see the attached flyer or call Amy Dusek at 612-861-9840.
