Richfield Readers' Choice: Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Which local business provides the best atmosphere on the green holiday?

While Richfield doesn't exactly feature any authentic Irish pubs, we do have some excellent hometown bars as well as a handful of national chains that may offer Irish fare on St. Patrick's Day.

So, assuming you weren't to head downtown to a watering hole such as Kieran's Irish pub, or over to O'Garas in St. Paul, where would be your first choice in Richfield?

Patch's second Readers' Choice contest is asking readers to vote and review their top choice for where to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Richfield. Choose from the following hot spots and if we're leaving one out, let us know in the comments section below:

Sandy's Tavern

Houlihan's

The Frenchman

Champps

Don Pablos

VFW

American Legion Post 435

Voting ends at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 15. Your Richfield Patch editor will determine the Richfield Readers' Choice winner based on a combination of poll results and the number and enthusiasm of reader reviews on Patch Places. We’ll announce the winner at noon Friday, March 16.

How about Home? Since it is on Saturday, that's the safest place to be.

Ann, you make a very good point. Are you planning on staying in that day/night?

I personally am looking forward to it. One of the few days I get to dress up all goofy at work. Okay, maybe I can do it all year, but... Anywho. Come on into Sandys to see me all drssed up and green beer.
