Richfield Chamber Presents Jennifer Bornholdt as New Chairwoman

Chamber members gather for the annual Christmas party and "Passing of the Gavel."

Richfield Chamber of Commerce members celebrated the holiday and looked forward to the new year Friday as President Steve Lindgren introduced Jennifer Bornholdt, owner of Hub Jewelers, as the organization's new board chairwoman for 2012.

Bornholdt told attendees she wanted to focus on gaining new and retaining current members, focus more on how the chamber can help veterans and their families through the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon campaign and get members to engage more in the group. Outgoing board members were Tim Carter of Richfield-Bloomington Honda, Gordon Vizecky of Best Buy, Jim Melssen (chair) of LaFayette & Co. and Pat Brekken of Richfield-Bloomington Credit Union.

Broadway Pizza provided a lovely spread of pasta, salad and desserts, while Vinocpoia and Richfield Municipal Liquor Stores provided the beverages. There was even a Frank Sinatra performer—Richfield native Dale Preston—who sang for members at the close of the event.
