Supporters of the Richfield Public Schools band programs will gather to hear the Richfield Symphonic Band play its second annual holiday fundraiser concert Sunday evening at Richfield United Methodist Church.

With increasing interest in the band programs, budget cuts and the growing diversity of Richfield families, the Richfield Band Boosters have put together the concert event not only to raise money, but to also collect instrument donations. The money collected will go to buying new instruments and paying for instrument maintanence.

In addition to the instrumental stylings of the Richfield Symphonic Band, guest organist Nancy Dierauer will also be in attendance.

There is no fee to attend the concert, however booster club members will be accepting free will donations at the door along with any instument donations. The concert begins at 4 p.m. Dec. 4 and will be followed by refreshments.
