Missing Chocolate Lab Found; Craigslist Gets Him Home

Youk was returned to his Richfield owners Wednesday, after nearly a week of being missing.

A Richfield couple has a member of its family back.

Youk, a Chocolate Lab that went missing the morning of Dec. 27, 2012, is now home with owners Carly and Chris Harrison.

Youk was found in Minneapolis and then taken to home in Cottage Grove to be looked after until his owners were found. The Harrisons got the happy e-mail Wednesday night after the caretakers found a Craigslist post about the missing pup.

In a Facebook post following the good news, Carly Harrison wrote:

"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!! I cannot say thank you enough! I am incredibly blessed to have amazing friends and am touched by all of the people that I have never even met that have reached out to me! It is amazing!!!!!"

If you have lost, found or spotted a dog that may be looking to go home, the information can be shared through Lost Dogs MN's Facebook page. In addition, any missing pets can be reported to Richfield Public Safety 24 hours a day by calling 612-861-9898.
