In addition, The Cornerstone Group will be collecting books for its future Little Free Library.

Citizens interested in seeing the latest site plans for Lyndale Gardens are invited to an open house event from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11.

Event-goers will be able to see the latest site plans, ask questions and give developers feedback.

Site developer The Cornerstone Group has been holding a series of community events at the site as part of its efforts to involve future site users in the design process and showcase all the potential uses.

As part of Monday's event, the developer will also be collecting used or new books for its eventual "Little Free Library." Little Free Libraries were created by a Hudson, WI man in 2010 in honor of his mother, a former teacher and book lover who died more than a decade ago, and aim to build a sense of community.

Caryn Brooks, development projects coordinator for The Cornerstone Group, said the library will be installed in the near future.
